Welcome all to my first blog on the category "Health". I would like to share the recipe of one of my favourite milkshakes with you all. Let's start this blog with something simple, but delicious and nutritious.
Before we begin, I want to say that the first portion of this blog is dedicated to the benefits of the food-item, then comes the section why you should try this, followed by, the secret recipe. So without further ado, let's begin!!!
Benefits of Date milkshake and why should try this
Have some seedless dates and milk??? If so, you are in luck. Date milkshakes are one of the easiest milkshakes you could make by yourself, which can be served to anyone. Don't worry about sugar(it is relatively low), since dates are a natural sweetener; subtle caramel-like taste.
Date milkshake is a great drink to start your day, or to try something easy and mouth-watering. I, usually sip it after a couple of games in badminton and believe me, it is really refreshing.
Ingredients
Here are the things you should keep beside you:
1/4 cup (de-seeded) dates.... of course
2 tbsp Sugar
750 ml Milk
2 ice cubes crushed (optional)
Crushed nuts
Time
Preparation Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 10 min
Chilling time: aprox. 1 hour
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation
1. Add your dates, which is seedless, in your blender along with your milk. Blend it at high speed.
2. Blend it till you find that it has blended evenly and is roughly smooth.
3. Add sugar to the milkshake and mix it.
4. Drop some crushed ice to your drink, (completely up to you), or chill your drink in your fridge. After 1 hour, take your drink, pour it in your glass and add some crushed nuts as toppings.
5. Serve cool
And that is it. Very easy to make. The milkshake could also be stored for later in the fridge.
